Continental Youth Championships (CYC)

The O’Neills Continental Youth Championships is the largest Youth Gaelic Games tournament outside of Ireland. Founded in 2004, the tournament hosts teams from the USGAA, Canadian GAA, and New York.

2026 Tournament Information

  • This year, the CYC will be held at the Greater Valley Sports Complex in Malvern, PA. 137 Line Rd. Malvern, PA. The tournament will run from July 30th - August 2nd 2026.

  • Our Club has a room block at the Sheraton Great Valley Hotel: 707 Lancaster Ave Frazer, Malvern, Pennsylvania 19355. Please use the following link to book your room.

    Deposit: One night per reservation, charged at booking and applied to the final payment due at the hotel

    Final Payment: Remaining balance is paid at the hotel

    Cancellations:

    Refundable (minus $20 fee) if canceled 30+ days prior (by 7:00 PM EDT)

    Stay-to-Play Policy

    CYC is a stay-to-play event. All non-commuting teams must book accommodations through HBC Event Services.

    To ensure compliance and accurate tracking, all reservations must be made through the booking link above. Hotels will not accept direct bookings for this group. DO NOT CONTACT HOTELS DIRECTLY

  • All players will be given a jersey, shorts and socks prior to the tournament.

    Officials will be checking for mouth guards so it is important to make sure that each player has multiple as they tend to get lost easily.

    Please bring lots of sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.

  • Please join the CYC Philadelphia 2026 group within the Northside Youth GAA WhatsApp community. This is where you will find all club communication regarding the tournament as well as any important updates leading up to the event.

    The CYC also will be sending official communication through the TeamSnap Tournaments App. Please make sure to download the app before the tournament for games schedules and team standings.
